The current standard practice for trademark protection in Maldives is to publish a cautionary notice in a major local newspaper. This notice is recommended to be published every two years; the fee for the notice is independent of the category and depends on the page size of the notice.
Since Maldives does not have a trademark law system, if you want to handle trademark renewal, assignment, change, etc., you only need to re-announce the trademark as a cautionary notice.
